PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to recognize a field angle or composition of a still or moving image that is previously imaged when imaging the still or moving image. SOLUTION: A display unit 111 is so configured that face region information detected from a first image data by a face detection unit 106 together with the image based on the imaged first image data is superimposed with the face region information of the image data which is stored in NVRAM 109 and which has been imaged prior to the first image so that the superimposed image data are displayed on a display 113.
