PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent extra power consumption of a remote controller when it is not used and still to improve its operability. SOLUTION: A left frame 3 and a right frame 4 are arranged in a position where they can contact a user's hand H when the user holds a remote controller 1 in the hand H. Thereby, when the user uses the controller, a power source E1 and a microcomputer 21 are electrically connected via the left frame 3, the hand H, and the right frame 4 to supply a current to the microcomputer 21 from the power source E1. Since a Darlington connection circuit 10 amplifies a faint current supplied via the user hand H, a current with an amplitude required to operate the microcomputer 21 is obtained. When the controller is not used, the power source E1 connected to the left frame 3 and the microcomputer 21 connected to the right frame 4 are electrically insulated.
