<p>A method and system for media modification are disclosed in the present invention, which are used to resolve the technical disadvantages in the prior art, such as potential embezzlement of bearing resources, etc., due to non-consideration, when media is being modified, of the fact whether user acknowledgement and precondition of media modification are needed or not. In the present invention, not the time point at which a 200OK message responding to an UPDATE message is received during a Re-INVITE affair process, but the time point at which a 200OK message responding to a Re-INVITE message is received, is used as an acknowledgement time point for the addition of a media element and/or the modification of the original media element. With the implementation of the present invention, before resources are available or a user performs acknowledgement, premature acknowledgement of modification can be avoided, thus the bearing resources can be prevented from embezzlement.</p> |
