<p>The invention relates to a method for detecting fouling or clogging deposits comprising at least one ferromagnetic material such as nickel, magnetite, or the like, on or in the vicinity of the outer wall of a tube, wherein a magnetized source (205) is inserted inside the tube (215), said method being characterized in that it comprises at least the following steps: rotating the magnetized source (205) about itself by driving same via rotating means (210); measuring at least one mechanical quantity correlated with the tangential magnetic force exerted on the magnetized source (205) when rotating same; and analyzing the curve of the resulting measure in order to detect and optionally evaluate the fouling or clogging.</p> |
