PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing waterproof ability by torsional action is provided to simulate the condition of a waterproof layer of a building like in a wall-junction area as well as general areas. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for testing waterproof ability by torsional action comprises a chamber(110), an operating unit(150), and a controller unit(160). The chamber has an accommodating space and a crack part and applies water pressure and torsional pressure to a waterproof layer being tested. The operating unit induces torsion on the chamber. The controller unit is electrically connected to the operating unit and controls the operating unit with the power provided from outside.
