PURPOSE: A driving management system for a vehicle is provided to enable a driver to carefully drive by displaying information about speeding on an LCD display when the current speed of the vehicle is over speed limit on the road after road information and time information which have been received from a GPS satellite, and the current speed of the vehicle are stored. CONSTITUTION: A driving management system for a vehicle comprises a digital tachometer and accident recording apparatus. The digital tachometer and accident recording apparatus comprises a memory(30), a GPS sensor(90), a speeding detector(50), a determining unit(40), an user input(70), and an LCD unit(80). The memory stores vehicle driving data, video data and vehicle-specific information. The GPS sensor supplies the location information of the vehicles. The speeding detector compares the speed limit of the road received from the GPS sensor with the current speed of the vehicle derived from the vehicle driving data and determines speeding. The determining unit determines from the vehicle driving data including the determination of the speeding detector whether the vehicle is economically driven.
