PURPOSE: An electric power generation ship using tidal currents is provided to cost-efficiently produce electricity and to easily change a generation place depending on an environment change. CONSTITUTION: A power generation ship using tidal currents comprises a waterway(102), a generation device(200), rail posts(104), and hydraulic cranes(106). The waterway is formed in the bottom center of the body of a ship. The generation device produces electricity in the waterway depending on tidal currents. The generation device is composed of a body, a safety net, a support, a propeller, a drive shaft, a generator, a power line, a gear box, and a helical turbine. The rail posts and the hydraulic cranes vertically move the generation device.
