<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server and a method therefor capable of autonomously generating a prediction model concerning a preference relation relating to merchandise from biological information. <P>SOLUTION: A preference prediction server (1) acquires the biological information of a user when merchandise is presented from a client part 6 connected via a network (100), and acquires selection concerning the preference of a user concerning the presented merchandise. Then, a model generation part (14) of a preference prediction server (1) extracts a correlation between the preference of the user and the change of the biological information from the change of the biological information when the user selects his or her preference and the change of the biological information when the user selects his or her non-preference, and generates a prediction model concerning the preference relation of the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
