<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent coating mass which can be used in slot-die-coating of flat support materials in the manufacturing processes of test strips. <P>SOLUTION: Advantageously, the reagent mass exhibits certain superior rheological properties such as viscosity, surface tension and thixotropy.
