PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a loss of light which reaches a pointer, thereby emitting light uniformly and evenly from the tip to the vicinity of the base. SOLUTION: The self-luminous pointer 12 includes: a pointer body 12a formed of a translucent resin member which has a base 12a2 for receiving light from a light source 13a, an indicator 12a1 extending in one direction from an upper end of the base 12a2, and a reflecting surface 12a4 for reflecting the light received at the base 12a2 toward the tip of the indicator 12a1; and a hole 12c1 which is engaged with an output axis of an instrument unit. The pointer is illuminated by the light which is led through the inside of the indicator 12a1 so that a measured volume can be visible for an observer in combination with an index such as a graduated dial. The pointer also has a proximal reflecting surface 12a8 for reflecting a part of the light received at the base 12a2 toward a bottom surface 12a9 of the indicator 12a1 near the base 12a2 where a light receiving unit 12a3 of the base 12a2 opposed to the light source 13a is arranged at the tip side of the indicator 12a1 with respect to the hole 12c1 and formed to be an inclined surface.
