PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus enabling selection of an appropriate spatial, focus, or temporal resolution after image acquisition. SOLUTION: A camera includes a lens 110 and a sensor 120. A dynamic mask 111 is arranged at an aperture plane 112 between the lens 110 and the sensor 120, and a static mask 121 is arranged immediately adjacent to the sensor 120.
