PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide tube for oral examination preventing a patient from vomiting when an in-vivo examination part is brought into contact with the tongue root and preventing false insertion of the in-vivo examination part into the trachea and perforation in the esophagus, etc. SOLUTION: A tube body has a curved shape continued from the oral cavity side of the palate to the back side of the pharynx in a cross section of the body vertically cut in the horizontal direction around the spiral cord, and a hard shape-retaining member is formed in the whole length in the longitudinal direction of the tube body in a part of the tube body in the circumferential direction. With this structure, vomiting caused by the contact of the in-vivo examination part with the tongue root can be prevented, and false insertion of the in-vivo examination part into the trachea and perforation in the esophagus, etc. can be prevented.
