Disclosed is a beacon lamp which is provided with: a lamp body provided with a flood light window; a planar light source provided with a substrate and a plurality of groups of LED chips, which are arranged in rectangular forms in substantially the same direction on the substrate and are disposed in the lamp body; and an optical system which guides light emitted from the planar light source to the floodlight window. At least some of the LED chip groups have different lengths, and the LED chip groups are disposed on the substrate such that the maximum length among the lengths of the LED chip groups and the total width of the groups are different from each other.
