The present invention relates to a handheld tablet PC system. Portable computers such as smart phones including mobile Internet are becoming similar to desktop computers these days. As a result, the object of the present invention is to provide a portable computer small enough to carry in a user's hand which uses a user interface as similar as possible to the interface of existing desktops without loss of portability, since providing a user interface that is easy to use is very important for handheld small computers wherein the use of additional input devices would be difficult. To this end, the invention discloses a handheld tablet PC system comprising: a body unit having a wide touch screen and supporting an electronic pen user interface; and an electronic pen unit having a mouse button and a handset function. Since the electronic pen unit has good mobility and provides an essential function by being configured in the pen type having the handset function, the user is able to carry the handheld table PC system at all times. Desirably, the body unit further comprises a phone module and a wireless local communication unit and the electronic pen unit has a built-in wireless local communication unit and a built-in operation detecting sensor. In addition, the handheld tablet PC system is structured to enable the separation of a USB connection unit therefrom so that the electronic pen unit may be used for various purposes. As a result, the user can carry the electronic pen unit together with the body unit, thereby increasing the use rate of the tablet PC system. By using the invention, the user interface for a desktop can be used even in a computer small enough to carry in a user's hand. Thus, the handheld computer can use existing desktop application programs with hardly any modification. Furthermore, carrying an electronic pen for the user interface is convenient and thus the handheld computer can be used for more purposes. |
