<p>The converter (1) has three drive devices (12-16) producing linear movements in respective movement directions (R1-R3). The drive devices are controlled and connected with different points (A-C) of a base element (2), where the different points are firmly connected with one another. Two of the motion directions are occasionally arranged at angle of 0 and 180 degrees to each other. Position detecting devices (16, 22, 24) are provided for detecting the linear movements in the respective movement directions. The drive device is selected from a group consisting of a linear motor, hydraulic drive, pneumatic drive and piezoelectric drive. An independent claim is also included for a method for converting movements.</p> |
