<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery, capable of suitably preventing an active material layer from being peeled off a current collector caused by the expansion and contraction of an active material in the charge/discharge of the lithium ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A negative electrode 30 includes: a negative current collector 31 in which a negative active material layer 33 containing an active material capable of absorbing and releasing lithium is formed on the surface 32; and a conductive member 35 formed on the negative active material layer and extending in the thickness direction within the negative active material layer. A current collector side part 34a of the negative active material layer closely contacting to the surface of the negative current collector and an electrolyte side part 34b of the negative active material layer locating away in the thickness direction from the surface of the negative current collector are electrically connected through the conductive member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
