<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device in which the calibration of a rotation angle sensor of a motor is completed in the shipping stage. <P>SOLUTION: In the power steering device, a pump 11 for selectively supplying hydraulic pressure to individual pressure chambers in a power cylinder, and the motor 13 for driving the pump 11, and an ECU 14 for drivingly controlling the motor 13 are integrally constructed as a motor pump unit 10. Further, a motor housing section 21 that is the casing of the motor 13, and an ECU housing section 31 that is the casing of the ECU 14 are unified by a common housing 20. Consequently, these sections are integrally constructed as a motor controller MC, and are also mutually electrically connected within the housing 20.
