<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a rice ball by which a rice ball having handmade feeling and good puffy palate feeling is formed. <P>SOLUTION: The method for molding a rice ball comprises: a process for putting sheet-like cooked rice R measured with a main measurement part 15a on a conveyor 2; a process for adjusting a difference in the sheet-like cooked rice R by an auxiliary measurement part 15b to make the cooked rice have a regular amount; a process for transferring the cooked rice conveyed with the conveyor 2 onto a measurement conveyor 3 disposed ahead of the conveying direction to make measurement; a process for transferring the sheet-like cooked rice R conveyed with the measurement conveyor 3 to the placing surface S of a rice ball-molding part by a sheet-like cooked rice transferring/supplying part 4; and a process for supplying an ingredient Q to the sheet-like cooked rice followed by finally measuring the sheet-like cooked rice R together with the ingredient Q. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
