METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING COLON CANCER BY USING BLOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for rapidly and readily diagnosing colon cancer by using an antisense RNA containing sample having excellent treatability, and to provide a tool useful for the diagnosis.

SOLUTION: The examination method for diagnosing the colon cancer includes measuring the expression of an endogenous antisense RNA in the blood collected from a mammal. There are also provided the endogenous antisense RNA, and the diagnostic agent of the colon cancer containing a nucleic acid having a base sequence hybridizable therewith.
