<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide polymer composition soluble in a solvent and having a predetermined strength after heat treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In the polyimide polymer composition, carbon black of less than pH 7 is dispersed in a solution containing polyimide polymer having a structure of general formula (1) and a solvent, and a mole ratio of tetracarboxylic dianhydride to a diamine compound in polymerization reaction to obtain the general formula (1) (α=(number of equivalents of tetracarboxylic dianhydride)/(number of equivalents of diamine compound)) is equal to 0.90 or more and less than 1.00. In the formula (1), R1, R3 each represent a tetravalent organic group.
