<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of shortening the time required for printing an image including a data code. <P>SOLUTION: Whether or not printing data predetermined by the same discriminating code as the discriminating code applied to the printing data are printed is asked to the other printer 101 via an premise network NW when receiving the printing command of the printing data including the data code.
