<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to consider pressurizing force of a pen tip; and to make it unnecessary to highly densely arrange a linear electrode for detection in a position destination region; and to generate highly precise positional information in relatively simple circuit configurations. <P>SOLUTION: In such a state that the potential of one of a pair of transmission electrodes is fixed to a prescribed potential, and that an AC voltage having a prescribed value is applied between the pair of transmission electrodes, an AC voltage induced between the reception electrode of a position designation tool and a fixed potential point is detected. In such a state that the other of a pair of transmission electrodes is fixed to a prescribed potential, and that an AC voltage having a prescribed value is applied between the pair of electrodes, the AC voltage induced between the reception electrode of the position instruction tool and the fixed potential point is detected, and on the basis of those detected pair of induced voltages, the positional information of the top end of the protruding part of the position instruction tool in a prescribed direction is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
