The LED device includes a lead frame (12) and LED chips (2) packaged on the lead frame (12) by resin (3), wherein the lead frame (12) comprises a packaged protruding (10), and the LED chips (2) are mounted on the top and all side-faces of the packaged protruding (10) so that the LED device can realize illuminating from the top and all side-faces of the packaged protruding (10). The scope of illumination of the LED device can be expanded, and the LED device can be used widely in a variety of lamps.
