<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate which uniformly emits light from a light emission surface and has excellent stability in mass production, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate 10 scatters light incident from an incident light end surface 16 and emits from a light emission surface 12, wherein a front surface side of the light guide plate serves as the light emission surface 12, a surface opposite to the light emission surface 12 serves as a reflective surface 14, and ink containing light scattering material is coated in a plurality of dot shapes on the reflective surface 14. Two or more types of ink different in luminance are used. A density of dots coated on one region is made equal to or lower than a density of dots coated on other region farther from the light incident end surface than the one region, and the luminance of the ink coated on the one region is made equal to or lower than the luminance of the ink coated on other region away from the light incident end surface by the one region. Thus, the luminance in the region of the reflective surface 14 closer to the light incident end surface 16 is adjusted to be lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
