<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the radiation of heat of electric motors even when reduction in size of an inverted pendulum type moving body is promoted, by achieving both of the reduction in size of the inverted pendulum type moving body and good radiation performance of the electric motors. <P>SOLUTION: The electric motors 82L, 82R of a travel unit and step mounting parts 180L, 180R are fixed and installed to a lower frame 22 by common metallic mount members 81L. 81R.
