PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of causing an increase in passage resistance by failing to secure the sufficient amount of opening of a valve element due to a factor of acting fluid flow or the like in a poppet type check valve. SOLUTION: The poppet valve includes the valve element 52; a poppet guide 56 arranged inside the valve element 52 to form a passage 66 in a section from an inlet 58 to an outlet 60 of the valve; a poppet shutter 54 arranged inside the poppet guide 56; and a bias member 58 energizing the poppet shutter 54 from the poppet guide 56 toward the inner surface of the flow inlet 58. An internal chamber 72 of the poppet guide 56 is made continuous with a low static pressure area of the passage 66 through at least one discharge hole 70 to reduce closing pressure.
