PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail bracket for an elevator for easily adjusting an installation position. SOLUTION: The rail bracket 15 for the elevator includes a first bracket 17 for installing a rail, a second bracket 18 temporarily fixed to the first bracket 17, an operation part 23 arranged in a place of crossing a first long hole 26 and a second long hole 31, and a rod 25 forming a tapered shape and inserted into the operation part 23. The rod 25 is inserted into the operation part 23 from one direction of the first bracket 17 and the second bracket 18, and rotates with either a first edge 27 or a second edge 32 as a fulcrum, and can adjust a position of the first bracket 17 by abutting on either the first edge 27 or the second edge 32.
