PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cooling device of a simple structure which when a cooling fan unit is replaced, opens and closes a shutter preventing a leak of an air flow from an opening without relying on operation by a user. SOLUTION: The air cooling device 11 housing a plurality of fan units 12 and 13 arranged in tandem includes an opening 15 for putting in and pulling out the fan unit 13, and a shutter 21 for closing the opening 15. The shutter 21 is so shaped that lift to the shutter 21 is created by a cooling air flow 18 caused by the fan unit 12 arranged in tandem with the fan unit 13.
