A transmitting channel operates a transmitter, and electromagnetic signals (7) transmitted between the transmitter and a receiver are coded operating signals for authenticating the latter device such that change of a condition of the former device is activated after positive evaluation of the signals. The channel transmits other signals for releasing comfort functions e.g. opening and/or closing of window panes of a sliding roof.
