<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an illegal use of an electronic paper in the image forming system including a so-called electronic paper and an image forming apparatus which forms an image on the electronic paper. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic paper 400 (non-power feeding image display apparatus) capable of retaining a display image without power feeding can be connected and disconnected to/from the image forming apparatus 100 for forming the image and includes: an image display means; an activation period retaining means 2 for retaining the information of an activation period which presents an operable period of the electronic paper 400; an activation period time clocking means 3 for clocking a time from the time when being disconnected from the image forming apparatus 100; and a control means 30 for stopping a display operation of the display means when the time exceeds the activation period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
