PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log in such a manner that a manufacturer or a dealer can specify the state of a failure of an apparatus or the like in a conventional way, while protecting user's confidential information. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a job log generating part 101 for generating log data 4 related to executed processing, a log registration processing part 102 which generates log data 5 by replacing secret information which is to be kept secret, of information included in the log data 4 with tentatively named information being other information and registers the log data 5 in a job log database 121, and an external administrator data output part 107 which outputs the log data 5.
