<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sense of swing from being changed because of ribs for improving hitting sound. <P>SOLUTION: A hollow golf club head includes a face portion, a crown portion and a sole portion. The sole portion has ribs for adjusting the intrinsic frequency of the golf club head.
