METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PLASTIC ROD LENS AND APPARATUS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus of manufacturing a plastic rod lens in which a plastic rod lens having a uniform diameter is efficiently and stably manufactured by a multiple spinning process. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing plastic rod lens includes: a step in which non-hardened strand fibers 4 is pulled up from respective ejection nozzles of a spinning head 2 having a plurality of ejection nozzles; and a step in which a plurality of the non-hardened strand fibers which are respectively pulled up from the ejection nozzles are further pulled up and hardening process 8 is performed, wherein the plurality of non-hardened strand fibers are pulled up at an angle within 0.3 degree with respect to the vertical direction during the time from the beginning of the pulling up step to the completion of the hardening step.
