<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by eliminating a fault when operating a door opening operating means and a power source in a superposed manner. <P>SOLUTION: This operating device for a vehicle door latch includes a first lever 61 connected to a link member 12 capable of transmitting the release operation of a handle lever 3 to a release lever 7, and a second lever 62 formed independently of the first lever 61 and connected to the power source 5. An energizing means 14 for energizing the first lever 61 in an unlocking direction is provided between the first and second levers 61, 62. When the door opening operating means and the power source 5 are operated in the superposed manner, the first lever 61 and the link member 12 stop in a lock position, and only the second lever 62 moves from the lock position into an unlock position.
