PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide drinking water which stably retains gas in a liquid for a long time, and which keeps functions such as bactericidal performance, palatability, a bioactive factor and the like. SOLUTION: In the drinking water, gas, as nanosized air bubbles, is present in a saturated dissolved water of the gas. Also, a hydrogen bond distance of water molecules present at the interface with the air bubbles is shorter than the hydrogen bond distance at normal temperatures and normal pressures. The drinking water is used by generating gas inside the drinking water by breaking air bubbles with external forces such as pressure change, temperature change, impact waves and ultrasonic waves applied to the drinking water; or the drinking water is refined by separating gas.
