PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter capable of saving the power a fanning means while the fanning means is put to a proper operative condition correspondingly to circumstances such as pausing seedling delivery operation and planting operation. SOLUTION: The rice transplanter 1 with a planting section 40 linked liftably to a traveling section 10 includes: a main variable-speed lever 52; a microswitch 85 detecting that the main variable-speed lever 52 is at a seedling delivery position P3; a fertilizer applicator 22 having a hopper 25, an unloading mechanism 26 and a blower 27; a selective switch 77 for selecting the blower 27's operating mode, when the main variable-speed lever 52 is operated at the seedling delivery position P3, to one of a halting mode or an operating mode at low-fanning levels; and a control unit 80 putting the blower 27 to a halting mode or an operating mode at low-fanning levels based on the selection by the selective switch 77, when controlling operation of the blower 27, and it is detected that the main variable-speed lever 52 is operated to the seedling delivery position P3 by the microswitch 85.
