PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle airbag and an airbag device which achieve lightweight and also decrease the number of man-hours for attachment by simplifying the structure. SOLUTION: The airbag 1 is mounted on the vehicle, and expanded and deployed by admitting gas for expansion thereinto. The airbag includes a bag body 11 which has a gas inlet to admit the gas for expansion, and is formed into a bag, and expands and deploys opposite an occupant of the vehicle by the gas for expansion; and an attaching base 12 formed to surround the gas inlet 11a of the bag body 11 and attached to the vehicle side. The bag body 11 is formed from a flexible woven fabric. The attaching base is formed by overlapping a self-shape-retaining reinforcing layer 12b onto a base fabric layer 12a extendingly formed on the bag body 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
