<p>There is provided an advertisement platform for reaching a recipient with an advertisement sent via a readily accessible communication device, such as a mobile phone, for example, and for further engaging the recipient to further generate interest and extend the life of the advertisement. A system and method is described herein for providing interactive advertisement on a mobile communication device (28) being in communication, over a communications network (32), with a source device (23). Advertisement data (25) is sent from the source device (23) and received at the mobile device (28), which then processes the advertisement data (25) according to one or more presentation rule (39). An interactive advertisement message (26) is presented on a user interface (40) of the mobile device (28) based on the advertisement data (25) having been processed, the interactive advertisement message (26) requesting a user action command (29) in response thereto. Upon capturing said user action command (29), a marketing activity (30) is generated, based on this user action command (29).</p> |
