摘要 <p>Disclosed is an illumination device wherein the formation of uneven luminance is suppressed while realizing a decreased cost and suppressed power consumption. The illumination device (12) is characterized by: being provided with a plurality of linear light sources (17) disposed in parallel, a chassis (14) that houses the aforementioned linear light sources (17) and that has an aperture (14b) for releasing the light from the aforementioned linear light sources (17), and an optical member (15a) facing the aforementioned linear light sources (17) and disposed so as to cover the aforementioned aperture (14b); by the aforementioned linear light sources (17) being disposed so as to have a high-density light source region (LH) wherein the parallel spacing is relatively close, and a low-density light source region (LL) wherein the parallel spacing is relatively far; and by light reflectors (50) that reflect light from the aforementioned linear light sources (17) being formed on at least the portions of the aforementioned optical member (15a) that are superimposed over the aforementioned low-density light source region (LL).</p>
