PURPOSE: A television and a controlling method thereof are provided to change a user set item based on set data in most recent times. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(40) communicates with an external TV. A control unit(50) detects data of a user setup item which sets a television which is enables communication through the communication unit. Based on detected data, the control unit changes the user setup item. If a lump-change function is set, the control unit changes the user set item.
