#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves providing springs (3) on a transition belt (6) by removably sticking springs on sections of the transition belt, where the transition belt is provided with the springs as a winding coil (2). The springs are detachably connected with the transition belt, where the transition belt exhibits a surface contour adapted to the geometry of the springs. The springs are released from the transition belt. The springs are shifted into a groove (4) in element plates (5) for locking the element plates with one another. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a spring inserting device comprising a drive unit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for inserting a spring into a longitudinal or head-sided groove in an element plate of a floor covering. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The utilization of transition belt enables positioning of springs in large number of items on very long supply belts in a very accurate manner, so that the springs already isolated in the apron can be supplied to the insertion unit in a quick and precise manner. The method avoids the need to treat the springs by separating the connecting pieces and enables reutilization of used transition belt. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a simplified schematic view of a spring inserting device by which springs are wound on a coil and are inserted into a groove of an element plate movable in a combination. 2 : Winding coil 3 : Springs 4 : Groove 5 : Element plates 6 : Transition belt.
|
