PORTABLE TERMINAL FOR GOLF USING GPS AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A portable terminal for golf and a utilization method thereof are provided to obtain shot distance and direction more accurately and to display them by the imaged information. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal for golf comprises: a GPS receiver(100) receiving a position signal of a user; a data storing unit(200) storing golf-related information; a route calculation unit(300) producing an optimal path to a purpose hole from user's location; a slope production unit(400) producing green gradient to a purpose hole from user's location; an input unit(500) in which one signal of the optimal path or green gradient is input; an output unit(600) which outputs the information of the optimal path or green gradient; and a control unit(700) controlling the overall operation of the portable terminal.
