PURPOSE: An elevator safety system capable of safe loading of goods is provided to prevent safely accidents and make work convenient by preventing the movement of the elevator even if excessive load is applied to the elevator. CONSTITUTION: An elevator safety system comprises an elevator cage(100). The elevator cage comprises an ascending and descending rope(130), an elevating roller(120), an upper frame(110) and an elevation rail(140). The ascending and descending rope are wound in the elevating roller. The elevating roller is located in one side of the upper frame. When the elevator cage fixed on the top of the upper frame, the elevation rail transports passengers and luggage. The upper frame includes a locking device(200). The locking device comprises a fixed bar, a guide member and a fixed bracket.
