The invention relates to a recuperative burner fitting out furnaces, employed to recover the heat of waste gases meant to preheat combustion air, so that the temperature of preheated air can reach 900...1000°C. According to the invention, the recuperative burner comprises a main burner (1) and a single recovery unit (3) provided with radiant tubes, where the main burner (1) is fixed on the furnace wall by a flange fixed by screws and is supplied with gas by a gas installation (4) and with a mixture of methane gas and air introduced into a cylindrical or conical chamber, the ignition being achieved by a flame of a pilot burner (2) which is separately supplied by a gas-air installation (8) by means of an automatic ignition and flame-monitoring device, the waste gas leaving the furnace through a channel (5) of a recovery unit (3), the gas heat being delivered to some radiant tubes (6) and transferred to the combustion air which is introduced into the recovery unit (3) through a nozzle (10) and discharged into the main burner (1) through another nozzle (11), taking part in the combustion of the main methane gas while the waste gases are discharged from the furnace. |
