<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for recognizing touch are provided to recognize multi touch without adding layer by recognizing the touch based on RF signal. CONSTITUTION: If a part of a touch panel(310) is pressed, an RF(Radio Frequency) signal generator(300) generates an RF signal corresponding to the touched part. A data processor(330) detects the strength or the phase of the frequency component from the RF signal, and decides the touch position. The location of the touch panel is decided based on the size or the phase of the RF signals having the different frequency component.</p> |
