PURPOSE: A location recognition system capable of reducing the power consumption of a tag is provided to control the output signal power level of the tag according to the distances between tag and anchors. CONSTITUTION: A tag transmits broadcasting signal at predetermined signal strength level. After the broadcasting signal is received by the tags, an anchor transmits an ACK signal including the ranging signal strength corresponding to the intensity of the received broadcasting signa(S510~S540). The tag performs ranging at the signal intensity within the ACK signal of the anchor.
