<p>The reader has a reading laser reading an optical disk that has a substrate with physical marks. An indium antimonide or gallium antimonide layer is inserted between dielectric layers of a zinc sulfide and silicon oxide compound on the marks. A determination unit determines reading power (Pa). An application unit applies another reading power for subsequently reading information present on the optical risk, where the latter reading power is equal to a product of k and former reading power, and k is a coefficient higher than or equal to 1. An independent claim is also included for a method for reading an optical disk using a reading laser.</p> |
