SOLAR CELL AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A solar cell and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent the short circuit of a front electrode and a rear electrode of a solar cell by including a disconnection insulating layer. CONSTITUTION: In a solar cell and a method for fabricating the same, a solar battery includes a substrate, a front electrode, a rear electrode, and a disconnection insulating layer. A front electrode and a rear electrode(305) are arranged on the front side and rear side of the substrate. A disconnection insulating layer(302) is arranged on the both sides of a substrate and intercepts the electrical short circuit between the front electrode and the rear electrode. A semiconductor layer respectively is included in the top and bottom layer of the substrate. The disconnection insulating layer disconnects the semiconductor layer on the top and bottom of the substrate.
