<p>The invention relates to an air-water wheel with tiltable blades, which is used to put into motion electric current generators, for the propulsion of river and sea boats, various pumps or to put into motion power units. According to the invention, the wheel comprises a main vertical shaft (9) whereto there are attached some stiffening and securing bars (11), having, at the upper and lower ends, some hinges (8) whereto there are attached some tiltable blades (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), and, in order to uniformly equalize the traction force, there are provided some lower and upper bars (13), the wheel with tiltable blades (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) is put into horizontal rotary motion under the action of some water streams (7), and by tilting the blades (1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6) a force is accumulated in the shaft (9), while some blades (1, 2) are in traction, the other blades (4 and 5) tilt against the air-water streams not opposing braking resistance against the streams, the blade (6) entering the cycle, and said cycle is repeated for every blade regularly so as to distribute the tilting of the blades (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) by the air-water streams, entraining the wheel which, upon its being used in the water, will function in vertical position of the shaft (9) below the flowing level of rivers.</p> |
