<p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing fly-ash artificial lightweight aggregate is provided to secure a constant quality of the aggregate by mixing fly ash, coal powder, clay, and a combustion promoting solution at an optimal ratio. CONSTITUTION: Fly-ash artificial lightweight aggregate includes 85 to 95 weight% of fly ash, 1 to 10 weight% of coal powder, 0 to 10 weight% of clay, and 1-2 weight% of a combustion promoting solution. A method for manufacturing the fly-ash artificial lightweight aggregate includes the following: Fly ash, coal powder, clay, and a combustion promoting solution are mixed. The combustion promoting solution is diluted with water. The mixture is introduced into a pelletizer, and the combustion promoting solution is sprayed into the pelletizer in order to obtain granules. The granules are sieved and calcined. The calcined granules are naturally cooled.</p> |
